About Me

Hi, I’m Jorgie Marshall

Hi, I’m Jorgie Marshall, a campus staff minister, mentor, and leader with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of South Florida, and a passionate bridge-builder between faith and real life.

My journey in ministry began as early as age eight, when I first started knocking on doors to share the Gospel in the inner city of Richmond, Virginia. Since then, God has taken me on a winding and wonderful road, from corporate business and nonprofit leadership to full-time ministry, where I now serve students, faculty, and staff with love, truth, and intentionality.

I believe discipleship doesn’t just happen in a church building, it happens in classrooms, cafeterias, study lounges, and office hours. My role with InterVarsity allows me to plant seeds of hope, gather people for authentic community, and walk alongside others as they encounter Jesus in the everyday rhythms of life.

I’m a wife, mother, student, speaker, and servant leader. I’m currently earning my master’s in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and raising up the next generation of believers, both in my own household and on the USF campus.

Whether I’m hosting a small group Bible study, partnering with local churches, fundraising for campus missions, or encouraging a weary student, I do it all with one heart posture: “Yes, Lord.”

My prayer is that this blog becomes a place of joy, updates, prayer stories, and encouragement as I share what God is doing at USF and beyond.

Thank you for reading, praying, and walking with me in this Kingdom work. I’m believing for miracles, on campus, in your life, and in mine.

With love and purpose, Jorgie
