Hello friends, family, and faithful co-laborers in Christ,

Welcome to the very first post of Jorgie’s Bubbly Updates, a space where faith meets life, joy meets purpose, and behind-the-scenes glimpses meet bold Kingdom vision.

For those who are just joining me or may not know all the details:

🕊️ I recently stepped into a brand-new role as a Campus Staff Minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) at the University of South Florida.

This role is more than a job; it’s a calling. I am honored to walk alongside students, faculty, and campus partners as they wrestle with truth, seek God’s presence, and discover their purpose. Every conversation, Bible study, leadership meeting, and late-night prayer is an investment in lives that will shape families, communities, and nations.

🎀 Why the New Look?

With this new season came a fresh vision and a fresh look. You may have noticed it in my colors, style, or even the way I carry this assignment. I believe this is a “bubbly” season—joyful, Spirit-led, and full of grace.
This blog reflects that tone: hopeful, light-filled, but also grounded in truth.

💼 What I’m Doing

Each week, I’ll share:

  • Campus ministry moments — real stories from USF
  • Personal updates — family, faith, and all the hats I wear
  • Ways to pray — because prayer is our lifeline
  • Ways to partner — financial, volunteer, or just showing up

This blog will not only chronicle what I do… but why I do it. And I want you to be part of it.

💛 I Need Ministry Partners, and I’m Believing for 75

To make this vision sustainable, I’m inviting 75 monthly financial partners to sow into the work God is doing through me and IVCF.
Whether it’s $25, $50, $100, or more per month, your support allows me to:

  • Be fully present on campus
  • Host life-changing events and discipleship moments
  • Equip student leaders
  • Travel to retreats, training, and mission trips
  • Provide meals, Bibles, and resources for students
  • Cover healthcare and operational needs for my family

Some of you may choose to give one-time gifts, and I welcome that too! But I’m especially praying for long-term partners who will walk with me in this journey—praying, cheering, and giving consistently.

🗓️ What’s Next?

Starting this week, you’ll get consistent updates right here.

This is the space where I’ll tell the real stories—of tears, triumph, tacos, and testimonies. 😂 You’ll hear about my daughters, my amazing husband Jarrod, the students who make me laugh and cry, and the God who keeps showing up.

🙌🏽 Thank You for Being Here

Whether we’ve known each other for 20 years, just met this year, or have not met yet, thank you.

Your presence in my life is not an accident. I believe God has assigned me to build community with you for such a time as this.

Together, we will be serving the USF campus!!!

Let’s bubble up with joy and purpose. Let’s build the Kingdom. Let’s step and see what God will do, together.

With gratitude and great expectation,
Jorgie Marshall
