Something special is happening.
One of my professors at USF is launching her very first course, Goal Redeemers. At first glance it looks like a goal setting class. But it is actually much deeper than that.
This is what I pray for on campus.
A professor who sees students as more than learners.
A classroom that becomes formation.
An academic space that makes room for faith, character, and calling.
This is the vision of campus ministry. Not just Bible studies outside the university, but transformation happening inside the university.
When educators live out their faith with excellence, they disciple hundreds of lives in places a pastor cannot stand every day. Students trust professors. They listen to them. They model their thinking after them. When those professors point toward purpose and toward God, the impact multiplies.
Dr. Kemi Akintewe is stepping into that kind of influence.
Her course focuses on redeeming goals, removing internal barriers, and aligning ambition with purpose. That is spiritual formation expressed through vocation. It is exactly how faith takes root in everyday life.
She graciously opened the invitation to me and to our broader community. I will miss the first week, but I plan to attend as many sessions as possible because I want to support what God is doing through faculty on campus.
And I want to invite you too.
Not because you need another class, but because presence matters. When believers show up, it encourages leaders. It strengthens witness. It reminds students that faith belongs in every arena of life.
This is what it looks like when the Kingdom quietly moves through education.
