This has been an incredible season of favor for my family and ministry.
This month, my daughter Maya celebrates her 18th birthday and two graduations. At the same time, I am celebrating the completion of my Master’s degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University through Bayside College.
As I look at all God has done, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
This year has been full of stretching, learning, building, praying, and trusting God one step at a time. Serving with InterVarsity Graduate & Faculty Ministries at the University of South Florida has opened my eyes even more to the deep need for discipleship, prayer, spiritual formation, and Christian community among graduate students and faculty.
Campus ministry is not only about reaching students. It is about reaching future professors, doctors, counselors, researchers, business leaders, educators, and culture-shapers with the hope of Christ.
What God Has Done This Year
This year, more than 80 partners have joined me in some way through prayer, encouragement, financial support, referrals, conversations, and generosity.
Because of your partnership, ministry has continued through:
- Discipleship conversations
- Prayer and spiritual encouragement
- Leadership development
- Relationship-building with graduate students and faculty
- Ministry presence at USF
- Encouragement for students and leaders walking through real-life questions of faith, purpose, and calling
Every prayer, every gift, every meeting, every referral, and every word of encouragement has mattered.

A Pivotal Fiscal Year-End Moment
As we approach the end of InterVarsity’s fiscal year on June 30, I am praying for sustainable recurring partnership that will help fully release this ministry long-term onto campus.
My current goal is to raise $10,000 in additional support before fiscal year-end, with a special focus on building recurring partners.
One of my clearest next goals is:
7 ministry partners at $100/month
Monthly, quarterly, and annual recurring partners help create the sustainability needed for long-term ministry among graduate students and faculty.
One-time gifts are also deeply appreciated and help us finish this fiscal year strong.
