As we approach the close of InterVarsity’s fiscal year on June 30, I have found myself reflecting deeply on this first year of ministry at the University of South Florida. Honestly, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

This year has stretched me, strengthened me, humbled me, and reminded me over and over again that God is faithful.

Many of you sowed into this ministry through one-time gifts, prayers, encouragement, conversations, referrals, and simply believing in what God was building before there was even visible evidence of growth. Outside of my husband, some of my very first ministry partners stepped in early and helped carry this vision when it was just beginning.

Every gift mattered.
Every prayer mattered.
Every encouragement mattered.

As I prepare for this next ministry year, my mentor challenged me to begin moving many one-time supporters into recurring monthly, quarterly, or annual partners. Sustainable support is what allows me to become more fully released onto campus long-term and continue building a ministry that reaches graduate students, faculty, and future leaders with consistency and depth.

This year also helped me identify 18 one-time supporters who may be open to becoming recurring ministry partners moving forward. I am praying over each relationship with gratitude and expectation.

The Three Pillars of This Ministry

This year, the ministry continued growing around three major pillars:

1. Discipleship

One of the greatest joys this year was walking alongside several women in discipleship, prayer, emotional healing, leadership development, and spiritual growth.

I had the privilege of mentoring women as they strengthened in their faith, navigated difficult seasons, rediscovered purpose, and stepped further into leadership and obedience to God.

We also had opportunities to speak into the lives of young women through a girls organization, encouraging identity, leadership, faith, and purpose.

Watching people grow spiritually continues to remind me that discipleship is deeply relational and transformational.

2. Prayer

Prayer has been one of the strongest foundations of this ministry.

This year included:

• campus prayer walks
• intercession with the national InterVarsity team
• prayer at vigils
• praying with individuals through health concerns and life transitions
• ongoing community prayer support through BNI and ministry relationships

We are still actively praying with many people regularly.

This year alone, I have received testimonies and prayer reports involving:

• homes selling
• healing journeys
• women believing for children becoming pregnant
• restored hope
• emotional breakthroughs
• unbelievers moving closer toward God

These moments remind me that God is still moving powerfully through simple obedience, prayer, and presence.

3. Bible Study

Bible study and spiritual conversations continued opening doors throughout this first year.

We facilitated:

• three online Bible studies
• spiritual discussions and discipleship conversations
• support for a professor-led Goal Redeemer Bible study

These studies created space for faith exploration, encouragement, leadership growth, and biblical reflection among students, professionals, and community members.

Additional Ministry Impact

This year also included:

• participation in several outreach opportunities focused on evangelism and spiritual conversations
• three national InterVarsity trips that strengthened leadership, ministry strategy, and campus vision
• building relationships that continue opening doors for future ministry expansion

One thing I have learned this year is that ministry impact often happens both on and off campus in ways only God can orchestrate.

Looking Ahead

As this ministry continues growing, recurring partnership support is becoming increasingly important.

Recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual support helps provide:

• sustainable campus presence
• discipleship opportunities
• Bible studies
• prayer initiatives
• outreach efforts
• leadership development
• ministry stability for long-term growth
