Dear Friends,

As we enter the final month of InterVarsity’s fiscal year, I have been reflecting on the faithfulness of God.

In 2020, I sensed God calling me into a new season of ministry. I did not know every detail, but I knew I needed to keep taking obedient steps.

Since then, God has opened doors I could not have opened myself. He has deepened my faith, connected me with incredible people, and led me into my role as a Campus Staff Minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

Today, I am preparing to reach graduate students and faculty at the University of South Florida. My heart is to help create spaces where graduate students and faculty can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and learn how to live out their calling in the places God has positioned them.

This past year has been a season of Ministry Partnership Development. I have met with friends, reconnected with people from past seasons, shared the vision God has placed in my heart, and invited others to become co-laborers in this work.

If I am honest, I thought I would be fully funded within a few months.

Instead, this journey has taken longer than I expected.

But God has used every conversation, every meeting, every prayer, every “not yet,” and every act of obedience to form something deeper in me.

He has reminded me that ministry is not meant to be carried alone.

It is built through partnership.

It is strengthened through prayer.

It grows through relationships.

And it flourishes when the body of Christ comes together to participate in what God is doing.

I am so grateful for every person who has prayed for me, encouraged me, made an introduction, shared my story, or given financially. You are not simply supporting a ministry. You are helping make room for graduate students and faculty to be seen, discipled, encouraged, and connected to the hope of Jesus.

As this fiscal year comes to a close on June 30, there is still an opportunity to join this mission through prayer, introductions, or financial partnership.

If you have been considering becoming a ministry partner, I would be honored to have you join me in reaching the university.

I am closer than I have ever been, and I remain confident in this promise:

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

Thank you for believing with me.

Thank you for praying with me.

Thank you for sharing in the joy of what God is building.

With love and gratitude,

Jorgie Marshall
