Recently, I received a call from one of my ministry partners.

She wasn’t calling to ask for an update. She was calling because there was a young woman she wanted me to disciple.

I paused for a moment because I realized something: this is what we have been praying for.

For so much of this journey, I have been talking about the vision, building ministry partnerships, raising support, preparing for USF, and asking God to open doors. Now, those doors are beginning to open.

And the beautiful part is that I am not doing this alone.

A ministry partner helped connect a young woman to discipleship. Another ministry partner is joining me as we begin financial stewardship classes. Young women are gathering and walking through Discipleship Essentials. Thursdays have become a place where I continue to witness moments of breakthrough, prayer, and spiritual growth.

God is connecting people, resources, relationships, and opportunities in ways I could never orchestrate on my own.

A Snapshot of What Is Bubbling

Breakthrough on Thursdays
Women are gathering, opening their hearts, praying, and experiencing moments of breakthrough. Some of these stories are deeply personal, and I believe part of loving people well is protecting what is not mine to share publicly. But I can tell you this: God is moving.

Discipleship Is Getting Deeper
I have the privilege of walking with young women through intentional discipleship, including Discipleship Essentials. These are the quiet moments of ministry that may never make a big headline but can change the direction of a life.

Financial Stewardship Begins Monday
Discipleship touches every area of our lives, including how we steward what God has entrusted to us. I am excited to begin financial stewardship classes alongside a ministry partner.

USF Outreach Is Beginning
I am already beginning outreach to new students at USF through a tabling opportunity. After so much prayer and preparation, I am stepping into spaces where new relationships can begin.

And There Is More Good News…

I was awarded a matching grant!

That means qualifying new gifts to my ministry are being matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000.

A new $50 gift can become $100.
A new $250 gift can become $500.
A new $1,000 gift can become $2,000.

This opportunity could help strengthen the foundation for everything that is ahead.

But the greatest encouragement to me is not simply that funding is growing. It is that ministry is already happening.

People are being connected.
Women are being discipled.
Partners are becoming participants in the ministry.
New students are about to be welcomed.
And doors at USF are beginning to open.

I keep thinking about that phone call.

A ministry partner saw someone who needed discipleship and made the connection.

Let the Lion Speak through you

That is what co-laboring looks like.

You pray.
You give.
You connect.
You open doors.
And together, we watch God do what only God can do.

This is just the beginning.

Thank you for helping me love people well, protect the stories entrusted to me, and be present when God opens the door.

With joy and gratitude,
Jorgie
