Dear friends and partners,
I want to share an honest and hopeful update as I prepare to step fully onto campus without hesitation, distraction, or uncertainty.
After recent conversations with my supervisor, I now have both clarity and confirmation around what is still needed to enter this next season of campus ministry with full sustainability. This clarity has brought peace, not pressure.
Quite simply, I need $2,000 more per month in recurring partnership to be fully sustained and fully present with students and faculty at USF.
Let’s Remove the Fear With Clear Math
This number can feel heavy until it is made plain.
Here are realistic and achievable ways this happens:

20 people at $100 per month

25 people at $80 per month

40 people at $50 per month

10 people at $200 per month

5 people at $400 per month
In reality, it is usually a blend.
For example:
5 partners at $200 equals $1,000
10 partners at $100 equals $1,000
That is the full $2,000.
This is not a large number of people. It is a clarity issue, not a provision issue.
The Best Way to Finish This Benchmark
After a year of ministry partner development, the most effective step is not starting with new strangers. It is activating decisions from people who already believe in the calling and the fruit.
Phase One: Inviting Monthly Partnership From Warm Supporters
There are people who have:

Given once
-
Prayed faithfully
-
Expressed belief but never committed monthly

Assumed I was fully sustained
The next step is invitation, not explanation.
My goal is to see 10 to 15 people transition into monthly partnership within the next 60 to 90 days.
Often, the conversation is simple:
“I am at the final benchmark to be fully sustained at USF.”
“Would you prayerfully consider joining my monthly support team at $___?”
“This allows me to stay present with students long-term.”
Many people say yes simply because they were never directly asked.
Phase Two: Anchoring a Smaller Group at Higher Levels
At this stage, I do not need more noise. I need anchors.
This includes pastors, alumni, professionals, couples, business owners, and retired believers who understand long-term ministry.
For this group, I am asking specifically for $150 to $300 per month.
Why this matters:

Higher commitments stabilize the base

They reduce emotional and financial pressure

They often remain longer
One clear and respectful ask honors both the vision and the relationship.
Phase Three: A Time-Bound Focus
Rather than an open-ended grind, I am entering a focused window.
I am believing God to raise $2,000 in new monthly support within the next 90 days so I can remain fully present on campus.
Urgency does not manipulate.
Clarity invites obedience.
A Simple Giving Framework
If it is helpful, here is a general guide many partners use:

$50 to $75 per month: friends, peers, younger supporters

$100 to $150 per month: ministry partners, alumni, church members

$200 to $300 per month: leaders, professionals, couples

$500 or more: churches or donors with strong vision alignment
Do not underestimate the impact of $100.
Do not hesitate to consider $200 when the relationship supports it.
People give to vision they trust and leaders who ask clearly.
The Spiritual Framing
This moment is not about proving faith.
It is about stewardship alignment.
God has already confirmed the calling, the placement, the fruit, and the endurance. Now the structure must match what He is growing.
Scripture reminds us:
“You did not lack anything necessary.”
“Write the vision and make it plain.”
“The laborer is worthy of their wages.”
My faith is fortified. Now the ask must be fortified as well.
Going Forward With Wisdom
To remain healthy and sustainable, I am committing to a simple rhythm:

Two to three personal asks per week
