There’s something bubbling up right now that I can’t keep to myself. God is moving, and He’s inviting us to move with Him.
A $5,000 Match in Motion
Just last week, I received incredible news: a $5,000 matching grant has been released for ministry at the University of South Florida! This means that every new recurring gift, whether monthly, quarterly, or annual, is being doubled, dollar-for-dollar.
This is more than fundraising. It’s about planting seed into the harvest. Every partner who joins in now is doubling their impact at a critical moment as we step onto campus with the Gospel.
The Envelope Challenge
One idea the Lord put on my heart was the envelope challenge, a creative way to help people step into recurring giving. Imagine rows of numbered envelopes, each representing a recurring monthly, quarterly, or annual commitment. The challenge is simple: pick an envelope, make that recurring commitment, and watch how God multiplies it.
It’s not about the size of the number, it’s about faithfulness, consistency, and what happens when partners come together in unity. Just like the ant army in Proverbs 6:6–8, small steps taken together lead to great impact.
Learning at SEU: A Missional Vision
This semester at Southeastern University has stretched and inspired me. One of the key lessons I’ve carried into this season is the concept of the Missional Action Plan (MAP). A MAP asks us to step back and think strategically about what God is calling us to do, who He is sending us to, and how we will carry out the mission in faithful, sustainable ways.
For me, the MAP is not just a paper for class. It is a blueprint for what God wants to do at USF. I see a campus where graduate students and faculty are discipled and equipped as Kingdom influencers. I see Bible studies in dorms, prayer gatherings in faculty offices, and communities of believers who know how to stand firm in their faith while extending the love of Christ to those around them.

Partnership, Not Just Fundraising
Here’s what I’m learning: ministry partnership development is not the same as fundraising. Fundraising is about money. Partnership is about mission.
When I reach out, I’m not looking for donors, I’m looking for partners who are excited about building disciples, reaching the lost, and shaping the next generation of leaders. Your gift isn’t just a transaction; it’s a collaboration in God’s mission on the college campus.
As Paul wrote in Philippians 1:5, “I thank my God every time I remember you, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
